Say Hello to Jake Halusic, Vice President of Sales
Vice President of Sales
We’re growing. Again! Meet our new VP of Sales.
This year, we’re committed to a vision of being nationally known financial leaders. Already, we’ve expanded our market presence, introduced our new Accounting as a Service line and continue to add team leaders. Most recently, we welcomed Jake Halusic as Vice President of Sales, a new position dedicated to developing the sales strategy, leading the sales team, expanding business lines, and finding new ways to generate revenue to support our growth goals and vision.
Jake has an impressive track record of enhancing processes and driving sales that increase a company’s value. Before joining CFO Alliance, he spent six years at TriBridge, where he generated nearly $30M in booked revenue for the firm, increasing its value from $80M to $160M, which it sold for in July 2017.
What Jake loves most about his job: helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses and watching them succeed. “Accounting and finance play a major role in creating value and driving success within a company because they are present in nearly every business process,” explained Jake. “Helping companies improve these processes make a difference and that feels amazing.”
Fun facts about Jake: He’s a big fan of Garth Brooks and is proud to wear orange and purple on college game days. Here’s what he shared with us in a quick interview.
Who’s your favorite sports team?
The Clemson Tigers are my favorite college team. When I was a kid, my cousin was on a full scholarship for baseball there, so I got to attend several of his games. The best was being at the college world series the year they made it. As far as pro teams, I pull for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins.
Are you a cat or dog person?
Man’s best friend! And I’m lucky to have two of them, Saber and Beamer. They are part of the family and were part of the wedding when Teresa and I married last year.
What’s your idea of a relaxing weekend?
I love to boat so if I am not working I am usually out on the ocean. I grew up in Greensburg, PA, so I didn’t grow up boating, but I bought my first boat about 4 years ago. I took some lessons with a certified captain and now we boat all around Tampa. Our favorite spots are Anna Maria Island, Egmont Key, or Sarasota.
What’s on regular rotation on your playlist?
Anything in the 80’s/90’s country genre is my go-to for good music. My favorite song is Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks!
