CFO Alliance. Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, widely known as the CARES Act, is a new law enacted to help small businesses get some financial help during the economic downturn experienced during the pandemic in 2020. CFO Alliance, we are offering a free webinar series discussing 13 Week Cashflow Projections and how they empower business owners to take control of their cash during an economic downturn.

The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program is currently available to small business owners located in all Florida counties statewide that experienced economic damage as a result of COVID-19. These short-term, interest-free working capital loans are intended to “bridge the gap” between the time a major catastrophe hits and when a business has secured longer term recovery resources, such as sufficient profits from a revived business, receipt of payments on insurance claims or federal disaster assistance.

This program is for loan amounts up to $50,000.  They are provided at 0% interest for 12 months.  After the initial 12-month period the loan interest increases to 12%.

GoFundMe and QuickBooks have partnered up to launch the Small Business Relief Initiative. QuickBooks is committing up to $1 million through a fund and employee-directed contributions while also seeking donations from other large partners. You can start a GoFundMe fundraiser for your own business or any of your clients that are impacted by COVID-19.

Inc. has released an ever-expanding list of resources, tools, and financial help that are at no cost to business owners. Inc. is updating this list daily as resources become available. The list highlights video conferencing, ad credits for digital marketing, cloud storage, and cybersecurity for employees working from home.

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in over 30 countries where we operate. We’ll share more details as they become available

Aprio has mobilized a Coronavirus Loan & Capital Assistance team to help business owners file for the Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster relief loans related to the outbreak of Coronavirus. This includes the $50 billion in federal funding set aside to aid small businesses across the nation.

BDO is delivering three webinars focused on the general business impacts of the virus and relief available to companies at this time.

Google is providing small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) worldwide $340 million in ad credits, which can be used at any point until the end of 2020 across our Google Ads platforms. SMBs who have been active advertisers since the beginning of 2019 will see a credit notification appear in their Google Ads account in the coming months.

The Federal Government is about to launch one of the most ambitious programs in history to help small businesses. The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) provides forgivable loans of up to $10M to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. Applications will be accepted starting April 3.

 

Remote Work

LivingHR is offering their Free Humanized Covid-10 Resource Portal for free. Designed to uplift and inform, this portal is meant to help employers share regular updates in a highly humanized way.

Hootsuite is offering free access to its professional plan through July 1. Hootsuite is a social media management platform that allows social media automation and content curation for businesses. 

WebEx is expanding the capabilities of its free tier service plan for businesses. Webex offers online meetings, screen share, and webinars, with unlimited usage.

TriNet has launched a TriNet COVID-19 Resource site. This site is a resource center for expert guidance on a wide range of topics, including regulatory updates; furloughs and leave of absence; travel; remote work; Form I-9 changes; and more. In addition, Trinet has provided links to helpful information from the Small Business Administration, Society for Human Resources Management, Department of Labor and others.

PRSA is offering a series of webinars discussing how to leverage digital tools on evolving channels and platforms. How to use proven digital marketing practices for online reputation management, crisis management, and digital marketing and advertising planning. 

Moz, the Search Engine Optimization giant, is now giving access to their Moz SEO Academy for free through May 31. Moz is a leader in the world of SEO, the Moz Academy course covers keywords research, backlinks, content optimization, and much more.

Sales Xceleration is hosting a free webinar series discussing how to adjust your sales strategy and how to communicate changes with confidence.

TriNet and Pivot Health is hosting a webinar series on April 1 to discuss the growing coverage gap, health plan options for employees who lose coverage, determining which option might be right for you and your employees, and TriNet resources that can help SMBs navigate their options.

PopSugar is sharing 4 morning stretches designed to combat work-from-home body stiffness.

 

Peloton is offering their work out app free for 90 days. Peloton offers a full library of fitness classes you can take from home. They offer yoga, meditation, strength, cycling, running and more.

 

Les Mills is temporarily offering its on-demand service for free. Access over one hundred workouts in their virtual fitness library from the comfort of your home.

 

Headspace is offering a variety of meditation and exercises for free to all businesses and their employees.
